Silver Line is Better Safe than Sorry

As the proposed completion date looms ahead, Phase 1 of the Metro Silver Line project has been forced to delay the launch date due to safety and performance testing. WAMU reports that the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority has confirmed that this testing is necessary and will push back the opening of the Metro Silver Line by about eight weeks. While the remaining steps are finished in order to start Silver Line Service to businesses and homes in Tyson’s Corner and throughout Northern Virginia, the next phase of the project has been given the “go ahead” to begin.
